How to Import Video Files in Adobe Encore for DVD

  1. Open the Adobe Encore program and open a new project, by going to File, New Project. Click OK to accept NTSC, the standard television format for DVDs played in the US.
  2. Step 2

    Go to File, and choose Import as Asset. Navigate to where your footage is saved in its final format, and select it. Click Open.

  3. Step 3

    Repeat for each video file.

  4. Step 4

    Encore organizes all video “assets” in a project window where you can view information on all of the files you have imported to use in the DVD project.

  5. Step 5

    Go to File, and Save As to save the Encore project.
